This page (together with the documents referred to in it) tells you the terms of use on which you make use of our site, located at: www.sassandspice.uk. Please read these Terms and Conditions of Use carefully before you start to use the site. By using the site you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of Use current at the time of your visit to the site. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use, please refrain from using the site.
  • The name Sass & Spice Cookery School and all related logos and course material is the property of Sass & Spice owners.
  • We take no responsibility for the content of any linked website shown on our website.
  • We take no responsibility and will not be held liable for protection of your computer system including computer hardware, software and stored data on your computer system including hardware, software and stored data of third parties who may access or be otherwise connected to your computer system.
  • We are committed to the highest standard of quality information and every attempt has been made to provide up-to-date and accurate information. However, we give no warranty as to the accuracy or currency of the information on the site.
  • We, our agents and employees accept no liability for any losses or damages (whether direct or indirect) arising from your use of the website or your reliance on information contained on the site, except that which it is unlawful to exclude.
  • We process information about you in accordance with the standard Privacy Policy. By using the site, you consent to such processing and you confirm that all data provided by you is accurate.
  • All classes are subject to availability and booked on a first come first served basis. In order to allow flexibility with dates and to avoid disappointment, we recommend you do not organise travel or accommodation until the booking has been confirmed. We reserve the right to postpone or rearrange a course up to three days before it is scheduled to take place in the unlikely event that there are less than five attendees booked.
  • We request all guests arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the course so they can make themselves comfortable. The courses will start promptly at the advertised times. Unfortunately, due to our courses having tight constraints, we cannot repeat any of the course material. We will endeavour to help the guest feel comfortable. We cannot provide refunds for any parts of the class that have been missed.
  • Details of event duration given on the website and elsewhere are a guide only. Classes are planned based on the times specified but naturally there may be delays or breakdowns that are not within our control. You agree that we shall not be held liable for variations in event time and duration.
  • All courses are subject to availability and will only be reserved once full payment has been received and we have sent a confirmation email.
  • The course price includes use of the equipment, all ingredients, a recipe pack and all transaction fees.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course and will do our best to notify you immediately. In this case we would be able to transfer you onto another course of the same price or refund the cost of the course. We would not be liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur.
  • Please note that in the case of low numbers i.e. under 5 we have the right to cancel the class, for which we will give you 3 days notice.  We will of course refund you immediately or transfer you onto another class of your choice.
  • We are unable to offer a refund if you cancel a booking less than 14 days prior to the date of the course. However should you wish to send someone in your place you are more than welcome to do so.
  • If you or your representative are unable to attend a booked course, but inform us more than 14 days in advance, our bookings and cancellation policy will apply but we will at our discretion try to offer an alternative course.
  • A course can only be cancelled or changed once but Sass & Spice will accept a named guest as a replacement if necessary.
  • We are unable to offer refunds should you not be able to attend due to adverse weather conditions. Please let us know as soon as you can if you are unable to attend.
  • We advise you to wear sensible clothing and footwear during the course.
  • We ask that clients be aware of the usual risks when working with kitchen equipment. Personal loss or injury will not be the liability of the Sass & Spice cookery school.
  • If you have any allergies or illnesses then please indicate at the time of booking. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to take responsibility for notifying us of any allergies or illnesses. We will not be liable for any personal loss or injury, should you not make us aware of your dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know at the time of booking as recipes will be finalised well in advance of the course. We will not be liable for any personal loss or injury, should you not make us aware of your dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • When you book a class with us, you will automatically be added to our mailing list. If you do not wish to be on our mailing list, please let us know and we will remove you immediately.
  • Sass & Spice gift vouchers can be used towards group or bespoke cookery lessons (excluding courses held with our partner sites) and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • By making a booking or purchasing or redeeming a cookery voucher, you acknowledge that our classes are dependent on certain factors beyond our control, and you agree that we will not be liable for the cancellation, postponement or alteration of any class for reasons beyond our control including weather-related reasons, mechanical failure or otherwise. Our maximum liability for any claim whatsoever in connection with a voucher or cookery class booking shall be limited to the price paid for a voucher or booking.
  • We have attempted to ensure that descriptions and images used on all marketing material are accurate. However, images are intended to provide a general idea of classes and do not form a contract between you and us. Nothing in this document limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury resulting from your negligence, or for any damage or liability incurred by you as a result of fraud and fraudulent misrepresentation by us.
